Your engagement session doesn't need to be complicated.
This session is about the two of you, and we want your photographs to reflect who you two are.
No pressure, no posing like someone you’re not. You’ve got your own way of being together, and that’s what we want to show. We’ve seen photo sessions get stiff and awkward fast, but we keep things fun and real. We’ll guide you when needed, but mostly we’ll help you feel comfortable so the photos actually look like you.

the APPROACH
WHERE EXCELLENCE COMES STANDARD
We want your engagement session to reflect your relationship, so we'll customize your session just for you. We'll assist as much as you'd like, from location assistance to clothing choices. We have some truly beautiful locations around the Tampa area!
Tyler will be your lead photographer, and Mariah usually assists to make sure you both look perfect!
We offer sessions from fifteen minutes to over an hour depending on what works best for you.
We'll communicate a lot before your session, through questionnaires, emails, texts, phone calls, etc. since we want to get every detail perfect for your Tampa engagement session.
After your photography session, you'll receive your individually retouched & professionally edited photographs in an online gallery, perfect to share with friends & family. We also offer beautiful albums & prints as well.

LET'S TALK
We'll hop on a phone call so we can hear your love story & all your session details to make sure we're the perfect fit. We'll discuss our session experience & go over all our available collections. This is where we'll go over our calendars to choose a session date & time.

BOOK YOUR DATE
If everything is perfect for you, we'll send over a contract & retainer invoice by email. Once those are completed, your session is officially booked!

PLAN & PREP
Leading up to your session, we'll send over some tips and ideas to prepare for your session. We're here to discuss clothing options and anything else that helps your session turn out perfectly.

YOUR SESSION
This is the big day! By now, we've prepared you enough to not be stressed out, but we'll be bringing you some calmness just in case along with some jokes and sarcasm so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We use a mix of formal posing to get those standard "look at the camera & smile" shots that everyone wants, plus candid prompts to get some variation & natural reactions.

GALLERY & ALBUM
Your full online gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks and any albums shortly after.

Hi, there! We're Mariah & Tyler Jacobs, your photographer duo, and we're genuinely excited for your Tampa wedding!
We bring calm and a real connection to every wedding we photograph. From the first phone call to the final gallery, we guide the process, talk through the details, and make sure your photos reflect how your day felt, not just how it looked.
We’ll help with the little things (like fixing a veil or pinning a boutonniere), the big stuff (like family photos that don’t feel like chaos), and everything in between. We’re there to support you, not distract.
Your wedding day is too important to leave to chance. That’s why we plan it out with you, check in often, and walk you through everything, so when the day comes, you can relax and enjoy it.
This might be your once-in-a-lifetime moment, but it’s not ours. We’ve photographed a lot of “I dos,” and we’ve been the couple in front of the camera, too, so we get it, and we’ve got you.
Also, we love food. Like, a lot. So yes, we are excited to eat your wedding cake.
the INVESTMENT
Our engagement & couples collections start at 300, however our average client investment is around 500.
À la carte options such as albums & prints can be added to any collection.
During a Zoom or phone call, we'll discuss all of our collections to see which one fits best since every couple is unique.
These sessions aren't just for engagements. Many couples use them as 'date night" couples sessions or maternity sessions.
